Cake Tester. Bakers find our cake tester to be one of the handiest tools they have. The broom maker hand ties these together and adorns them a bit of plaiting, made from the split stems of the broomcorn. Bakers hang the tester in their kitchen. When needed they break off one piece of the broomcorn and use it to test to see if their baking is ready. Makes a great gift and wonderful decoration also.
